4th of July

Okay, it's 4th of July weekend. Let the baking begin. I am working on some cupcakes for all my wonderful team at church. I am pretty excited about these cupcakes. Strawberry cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese frosting. I am going to decorate these with some star cookies decorated in red, white and blue. Stay tuned.....

I have been wanting to start a food blog for a while now so here goes. Why now? let's see.....I need to curb my facebook time, I wanted to join daring bakers and cooks and it's easier with a blog, I need an excuse for not ironing my clothes before I go to work, I want someone to love my cupcakes so much that the new official name for cupcakes becomes tamicakes and, well, that's probably enough. If anyone ever stumbles on to this little site, tell me what you think. Give me ideas and share with me your life.
